Watch for When the Water Goes Out

HighBeamMinistry.com

Nope, I don't claim to be a prophet, but I do get inklings from the Lord that I jot down to see if I'm hearing from the Holy Spirit. Some of those I share with you. The latest "download" came when I was driving and listening to Christian music and mulling what might be on the way with spiritual and worldly events … when suddenly I was hit with a picture and an idea.

In my imagination, I saw a beach and the water suddenly drained away leaving a broad expanse of exposed sand. I know that when that happens, it can be a strong indicator of an incoming tsunami. The phrase "watch for when the water goes out" hit me hard and still resonates in me. What I know is that it stood for either good or evil. Let me 'splain.

Is there a time coming when the tide of good will withdraw allowing a time of evil to rise only to be followed by a tsunami of good (God) to return or will the tide of evil pull back revealing a time of apparent good and peace breaking out only for a flood of evil to roar back and inundate us?

My gut tells me the latter.

I think we'll see a time when it appears good is triumphing around the world and the United States, but a horrendous flood from Satan will threaten to overwhelm us.

“Now when the dragon saw that he had been cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman (Israel) who gave birth to the male Child (Jesus). But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent. So the serpent spewed water out of his mouth like a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away by the flood (attacking Israel, trying to destroy her). But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the flood which the dragon had spewed out of his mouth. And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ (Christians or Jews/Christians). (Revelation 12:13-17)

However, if this is the case, then the Lord has the last word:

"So shall they fear The name of the Lord from the west, And His glory from the rising of the sun (Jesus' return?); When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him." (Isaiah 59:19)
